All of the couples that I have had the privilege to photograph on their special day this year have been so full of life & love! This couple was no exception,,,,

These two (along with their bridal party) were ready, willing, & able to do anything.

I love how much energy this group had! The laughter was nonstop-from the moment I walked into the brides room carrying Starbucks for her until the end of the night.

Another bit of excitement was doing their 1st look photos! Brandon's reaction coupled with Caitlin's enthusiasm was perfection at its finest. From a photographers point of view, I wish more bride/grooms would opt for this... 1st looks are incredibly intimate & sweet, they give couples a few moments to just relax & give each other those reassuring looks.

Here are a few photos from the absolutely beautiful engagement session I did 2 weekend ago out in the Watercolor/Seaside area

These two were such a sweet couple to work with! I knew Heather in high school & I was honored as well as super excited to photograph their engagement photos!

AWE!!! I just can't get over for beautiful this session was!

& after I had them practice their first dance for a few minutes ;) we headed to the beach

Well....Heather & I thought it was a fun idea to get in the water

Josh eventually warmed up to the idea :)

I promise he wasn't really this mad lol (good thing he had a change of clothes)

Family First- 6 years!

Its amazing how fast time really does fly by! It seems to move its fastest when your not paying attention too. Today my husband and I have been together for 6 years!!!!! We were 18 when we started dating & it seems like just a few days ago!

Here's a few interesting fun facts about us:
          Josh asked me to be his girlfriend after I had already told him I wasn't interested in a boyfriend, he asked I said "no", but I quickly changed my mind when I realized I really didn't have a good reason for not dating him :)
He met my parents that same day because I told him if they didn't like him there was no point in dating, that same night we went to Build-a-Bear & made a fisherman bear named Bradley.
   We each had a crush on each other in 9th grade & I had secretly hoped he would ask me to homecoming, I even told him I had dress picked out & I would go if I had a date...he got the hint 4 years later lol
         The first major purchase we made together was a house which we closed on tax day 2 1/2 years ago.
         We picked out/purchased my engagement ring after only being together for a year, but Josh did not propose to me until we had been together for 3 years. Yes he had my ring for 2 years! We both wanted to be able to purchase a house & pay for our own wedding, + (my dad had asked me to graduate with my bachelors first, We actually got married 2 months before my graduation).
         Josh pulled out all the stops to propose to me, at Cinderellas Castle in the Magic Kingdom it was the best proposal ever!!!!!!!!   more details later
         Our engagement year was by far the worst year EVER! Everyone either needs to have a short engagement or elope! lol but seriously...
         Following the worst year ever we have had the best almost 2 years of our entire relationship...marriage.
         I gave my husband the most expensive (for him lol) & best birthday present ever this year! Lily, our daughter who was born 4 days after his birthday.

I love you Josh & I can't wait to see what all God has in store for us for the next 6+ years!!!!!!!!

Beach Session-Little Mermaid

Here's a few of those precious moments I got to spend with this adorable little mermaid last week. She wouldn't smile much for me even when mommy & daddy sang her favorite song, but she was still one of the most well-behaved babies I have had the pleasure of photographing!

Beautiful baby complimented by a gorgeous sunset sky!

Her smile was fleeting, but also extremely infectious!
I'm excited to see her again in a few short days for some fall photos, so be on the lookout for the baby blues again. :)

Thank you! Family & Wedding sessions

     I have just officially completed my first year running my own photography business! Even though I have worked in this industry for over 4 years I never had the courage to begin on my own until last year. I just wanted to take this time to thank all of my clients that I have had this past year!
     This year was my Portfolio-Building year & what a whirl-wind it was. On top of starting my business, my husband & I celebrated our first year of marriage back in March & welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world in May.
    Many times as photographers we get so wrapped up in our business that we forget to thank our clients, without you guys none of us would make it! I am so excited to watch some of my favorite little boys & girls grow up & blossom! I honestly cant tell you guys how excited I am for next year! I have so many ideas for all my repeat customers & new ones of course! My clients are all fantastic & so much fun to photograph. I went away from every session/wedding on Cloud 9 because MY clients are awesome!
    With that being said, don't forget to contact me for those little ones milestone sessions! What better way to cherish those moments than with a photograph (ya know what they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" & especially their biggest milestone-turning 1. I know several of those little guys that would LOVE to smash a cake!
